Mr. William Jones

 Mr. William Jones is retired military who served in Desert Storm and he was awarded the bronze star during his service.  Mr. Jones later became a recruiter for the United States Army and was awarded the Army Recruiting Ring (Highest award during that time) during his time as a recruiter.

He is a retired JROTC Instructor for the Shelby County Schools (Whitehaven High School, Memphis, TN) after providing 20 years of service.

Mr.  Jones Founded Operation Stand Down Midsouth, Inc. (ODSM)in 2009 and is the President/Executive Director of OSDM, which is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization whose mission focuses on reconnecting homeless veterans to their communities in Eastern Arkansas, Northern Mississippi, and West Tennessee.

Mr. Jones is also affiliated with the following organizations:

  • Life Member of American Legion Post 27 and DAV Post 70
  • Member of the Military Retirees of the Tri-State Area
  • Volunteer at VAMC
  • A graduate of Bethel College (Organizational Management)

Mr. Jones is also a proud father of two and grandfather of three.
